Friday (7/20) night:

We are meeting at Walt’s Pourhouse (6 pm to close) for an adults-only event. We will be providing appetizers and finger foods, but will not be providing beverages. This location was chosen because of the high occupancy limit, affordable pricing (in other words, no reservation fee and no “cost per person” meal charge), and also because survey results indicated that a majority of people liked this option (second only to the Mill Casino, which was both expensive and required a minimum attendance).

Saturday (7/21) morning:

There will be an optional Marshfield campus tour at 10 am. There is an apparel shop on campus that sells alumni merchandise for both adults and children. Again, this was chosen based on survey results; 78% of our classmates are interested in a campus tour. Therefore, we thought that this would be a great option as a reunion activity.

Saturday (7/21) afternoon:

We have reserved the Bastendorff Beach day use picnic area (overlooking the beach and there is a playground for the kiddos; very nice area!). Also, catering details are being discussed (prices and menu choices to come). This area was not on the survey; however, Sunset Beach received the most votes, but was not available the date of our reunion and so Bastendorff was chosen to still provide a beach atmosphere. There is also a campground at Bastendorff for those that would like to camp and/or have a bonfire on the beach that evening. (We will not be planning a bonfire event, but would be more than happy to collect pallets for those that would be interested in something like this.)
