Band Concert Date Change

The final Marshfield band concert of the year will be held on Tuesday, June 2^nd rather than the original scheduled date of May 12^th. The concert is held in the MHS auditorium and begins at 7pm. The Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and Percussion Ensemble will be featured. With all of their hard work and accomplishments this year, please come support the band students.

Band Jamboree

Don’t forget, the Coos Bay Band Jamboree will take place on Tuesday, May 5^th.

Jazz Ensemble Competition

The Marshfield Jazz Ensemble will be performing at the Northwest Jazz Band Festival on Saturday, May 9^th. The jazz ensemble has been extremely successful this year and we are hoping to continue that success on May 9^th. The festival will be held on the campus of Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, OR.

The MHS Marching Ensemble and Guard have been selected to perform in this year’s Rose Festival Starlight Parade on May 30, 2009! Hard work is paying off for the members of all of the MHS Bands!
